What you can upload

One .html file, or a .zip with index.html at its top.

Inside a .zip: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, pictures, fonts, sound, video, JSON, WebAssembly and 3D models.

Up to 32 MB and 300 files. Your three games share 32 MB on Fink.

What Fink refuses

Programs and installers (.exe, .app, .dmg, .apk), any other kind of file, and locked .zips. One file Fink doesn't serve and the whole upload is refused.

A game can't hand a player a file to download, and it runs on an address of its own, away from your Fink account.

What gets listed

A game that trains a skill that's real outside it, made with work. Four rules; Lain plays every new game and every new version.

On your own site instead? Link its https:// address, with the fink.js line in it.

What happens after you upload

On the shelf at onceInterval Stairs dropped on Upload, named and put in Fink: at its own address, and on the Underground's shelf at once. Your own storefront is a free lot you claim, not something an upload makes.
Someone plays itA finker opens it from the shelf, past the not-checked notice, plays a round of eight (shown faster), and Fink pays community XP for the minutes really played.
The way upIn Your games the maker gives it a cover and puts a new version over it; Lain features it on the shelf; a jam's best get a plot above ground.
Teach what you know

Upskill your fellow finkers, and earn lead for it.

Every game here teaches a skill that's real outside it. Share what you know: a game Fink hosts earns you lead, by a price you set once or, free, by a share of each month's pool.

Listed on your own siteThe game stays on the maker's site with the fink.js line; opened through its door, its minutes count as community XP. It takes no price and no pool share: only a game Fink hosts earns lead.
No game yet? Get a prompt for your AI. Fink builds no games: Claude or ChatGPT does, from your class paper.
Get a promptpick one, fill the blanks or leave them, and take it to your LLM
Your own idea instead? Read it

Paste the prompt into a new chat. If you have a class paper, attach it or paste it under the prompt, then send. Your LLM answers with one file: drop it on Upload, above.

Round twothe second prompt is the one that makes it yours

Same chat, one at a time, and play it between each. Say what you saw in plain words; ask for the whole file back every time, then put it over your game from your games. Games that are obviously one prompt get taken down.

The rules
  1. Your game trains a skill that's real outside the game.
  2. Put work in: games that are obviously one prompt get taken down.
  3. No hate.
  4. No obvious cheating.

A game that isn't very good yet stays up. More on each.

An examplemade from the prompt and the kit alone

Interval Stairs: hear two notes and say how far apart they are. Opened here it runs in practice. On the shelf it counts.

The kitFink's own look, for your game

Fink's colours and fonts, the Fink figure in 3D and as sprites, buttons and chips, stickers and patterns: everything taken from Fink itself. The 3D start walks the Fink figure; see the whole kit.

That one line is how minutes count, and Fink adds it to a game it hosts. The whole of fink.js, in plain English; AGENTS.md for Claude Code, Cursor or Codex.
